Wrenching in L.A. [RE-wrenches]

In my past life, I used to provide consulting services
to LADWP -- so to be blunt -- LADWP management has and
continues to run scared of the IBEW.  They are
probably too embarrassed to let this get out.  

IBEW is also a big political contributor to council
and most council members want to be perceived as pro
labor.  A big political cluster****.  The only way to
move this along is to take it to the people so the
politicos get off their butts. IMHO!
