I've spec'd a 24V 400w Studer inverter for a system.  Of course, I first
called Schott-Glass, to confirm they had one in stock.  The guy on the
other
end of the phone said the computer said they only had one, with unknown
lead
time for more, so I politely requested that he FIND said unit, as I
wasn't
going to order it if it only existed in the computer.

Long story short, now that the client has said yes and put down his $$$,
Schott sez they can't sell that unit as it is their demo model.  5 weeks
+
for another.  No one happy.

Upshot--does anyone know another supplier for Studer, or can suggest
another
quality pure sine inverter at a good cost, with low idle current?
