KWh Meter/Xducers [RE-wrenches]

I realize that this has probably been discussed here before, but I can't 
seem to find the old postings.  Anyone have suggestions for a source for 
low-cost KWh meters or transducers with pulse outputs?  Don't need any 
display, just want to use it as a transducer.  I seem to remember someone 
recommending a source for re-built demand meters, but I can't recall who it 
was, and don't remember whether those units had pulse outputs.
