The Sunny Boy inverters work fine with amorphous PV. Amorphous is rather
easy to track due to the low fill factor (very gradual power curve).
Also, the Sunny Boys inverters will peak power track down to 240Vdc at
nominal 240Vac line voltage. The Trace Tech inverters will only track
down to approximately 320-330Vdc. So the SB's will allow for a deeper
voltage degradation on amorphous. Some other things to watch out for
with amorphous is the larger Voc-Vpp voltage window and the larger
temperature derating than crystalline PV.
