I am writing to invite you to sit in on one our two upcoming half-day dealer
training workshops in California week after next.  One is in Davis and one
is in Riverside.  I think you might enjoy getting some additional exposure
to the technology, performance prediction, siting, permitting, and
installing small wind systems.  There is no charge and we will be supplying
materials.  You don't need to be a Bergey dealer or even a prospective new
dealer to attend.  But, naturally, we would especially welcome prospective
new dealers.

The workshops will focus on selling, permitting, and installing 10 kW
turbines under the CEC rebate program.  We are hoping that the new CEC
high-resolution wind map will be available for the workshops and we will be
demonstrating how they can be used to provide performance and economics
predictions that have not been possible with the old low-resolution DOE wind
maps.

Here are the details:

Riverside:  Monday, December 16th, 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM, Courtyard by Marriott,
1510 University Ave., Riverside, CA, Tel: 909-276-1200.  Seating is limited
at this venue.

Davis:  Wednesday, December 18th, 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM, Buehler Alumni &
Visitors Center, Univ. of California, Davis, CA, map and parking information

BWC dealer workshop is being held in the same room as the CWEC Forum (see
below).

On Dec. 18th (Wednesday) in the morning, I will be participating in the
California Wind Energy Consortium Forum in Davis.  The forum mostly
concentrates on large wind systems, but will have a distributed systems
panel on Wednesday.  Information on the Forum is available at
http://cwec.ucdavis.edu CWEC works closely with the research arm of the
California Energy Commission and they have composed an excellent set of
small wind references for zoning at their web site.
