Wrenches,
For years we used Alternative Energy Engineering/Applied Power/Schott
Applied Power for two things: their generic catalog, and as a source for the
widgets that helped us support our (primarily) off-grid customers, many of
whom have lived off-grid for 15 or 20 years. SAP's entire marketing approach
has fundamentally changed, and all of this has ended, especially with their
$1K purchase minimum. Who have you found to take that place as a
single-source distributor of all the little things (and a few big ones) to
keep off-gridders stylin'? Examples might be 12 and 24V DC fixtures, small
relays, cigarette lighter receptacles, low cost ammeters, etc.
Thanks,
Allan @Pos E
