SB304- SB50 limits [RE-wrenches]

Absolutely!

50A at 24 volts output would fit the needs of most systems I do. So this would
be a 5048, 48 volts in, 24 volts @ 50 amps out. With long wire runs, it is very
beneficial to have a controller that will do voltage conversion like this, plus
handle sufficient current to do the job, plus MPPT. Right now, the 3048 just
does not have enough capacity to consider using, whereas a 5048 would!

Thanks for your openness to suggestions from those of us out in the field.
