You might try this outfit for starters. I don't know much about them
but they are in California.

Some years ago I had some dealings with several desalinization equipment
manufacturers. One really big outfit was based in Milwaukee and did a
lot of government work [US Navy]. Can't recall their name now. There
was also a company up in Canada that was doing smaller scale systems. I
think they were in Burnaby, but I don't recall their name either.
