Hi Peter,
(from previous email)
Kyocera modules come with round connectors. Joel Oatman at Kyocera was nice
enough to return a call and tell me about Anixter.
John Raynes (thank you John), a Wrench in Utah, also turned me on to Anixter
and reports that
PN 2AX-1002, XLP/PVC rated, XHHW-2. I know that the catalog describes it as
flat (.290 x .480 OD), but the stuff I'm looking at here is more round than
flat (about .400 X.480). Don't know if that will work for your Kyocera
modules, I haven't used them yet and don't know the mechanical specs of the
openings.
This cable has all of the other standard TC ratings (direct burial, sunlight
resistant, etc.) I didn't buy it because I was looking for round, instead I
was looking for TC that was 90°C wet rated, which standard TC is not (it's
75°C wet, I believe). Because of this, it costs more than standard TC but I
wanted to be safe in that regard since it gets pretty hot where I'm installing
systems. Depending on your perceived need for 90°C wet, this may
be a good thing or a bad thing.
