Yup, I've heard the furry, little balls (with the string attached)
refferred to as a mouse. Suck em right through with a string attached.
I like to keep an old casting type fishing reel in the box. Not the
bail reeled spinning variety, but the old bait casters. A very nice way
to roll up string.
On a related note, I once shot a wire across a forty foot span in an
encloded and unaccessable susmended ceiling area using a C02 pistol. I
taped a monofilimate line to a dart I fabricated out of a piece of
coat-hanger wire. The reel, (in this case a spin casting works better
than a reel type), gave me a line to pull a heavier line with, then the
wire.
