here in the  UK we have metric cable sizes (square millimetres cross 
sectional area copper conductors).  That makes it even easier.

Multiply the length of the cable (one way)  in metres by the current 
in amps, and divide by the area in mm^2.  Divide by 30 for a cold 
cable, or by 25 for a hot one and you have the volt drop.

don't forget to give your answer correct to 6 places of decimals.
