In the past, I had never heard of any inverter NOT interfering with
standard AM radio, usually sufficient to wipe out weak stations at
least. HF ham radio generally has the same problem.
I have a Statpower Prosine 1800 watt inverter located in a pit, 150
feet from my house and office. In my office is my HF ham station that
runs off a 12V battery. I have never noticed any interference, so
yesterday I took my portable shortwave radio all the way over to the
pit. I got a little whine from my Solar Boost controller within 10
foot distance, but nothing from the inverter!
