Joel and all,

Clean Power Estimator will do the calculations you seek. However, you must
first determine whether the customer will save money by going to
Time-of-Use. This is not always the case. Once that it determined, then the
calculation can commence on whether TOU will perform better. If the customer
will save money on TOU without PV, it will greatly improve the economics of
the PV system (for systems sized to cover 30-70% of the house load). Since I
generate 100% of my electricity, TOU rate has a negative impact on my
economics.

I'm considering TOU for my PV system before recommending TOU to
customers. Has anyone done a PV system with TOU rates? What has been
your experience? I did an estimate on my system and got 22% lower
electric bill.
