Venting [RE-wrenches]

Thanks for all the comments on venting.
 We have been inspected for this system several times each time we fix the
items on the list.
Then we get a few more things to do most of the calls have been good ones
things we never been called on before, "we like that". The room is under the
house in the crawl space.  The room has 8' ceilings, isolation, four 8"
solid brick walls filled with concrete.  With dry wall and / or paint on all
surfaces except where the electrician used the bare brick wall to attach the
house main electrical panel.  The sealed lights, eyewash, fire extinguisher,
battery buckets and safety gear are there.  The Shower is out side the room.
There two doors and one window.  The inspector at first wanted a alarm on
the fan. The fan is only on when the battery voltages reaches set points in
the inverter. We explained this and he went for the passive vent Idea.  My
feeling is that the Zephyr fan will suck air into the box from the passive
vent thus cooling the batteries in the winter and this could cause freezing
and damage the batteries.
