Take it easy, Bill. In my home system in Nuevo Mexico, it flat-ass works. I
get consistent boosts of 15-20%, and have occasionally seen 49.8A from our
1kW array in winter, when we need it (12 MSX64s and 2 AP120s--you do the
math). We made waffles with the electric waffle iron, put the leftovers in
the Maytag fridge, and then ran the dishwasher to celebrate the winter
solstice. The SB50 is one dog that can hunt. I didn't ask the inspector for
permission, either.
But please report--what specific controller problems did you encounter
on that 54V system?
