Hi John,
  The fellow that makes the 12" and 16" DC fans for Real Goods, AEE (or now Schot
or whatever), is Bill Hollibaugh of Holly Solar. It's a 36v DC motor, will take
up to 24v PV direct input just fine. Find him at http://www.hollysolar.com
