Solar Guerilla danger? [RE-wrenches]

Hi Kurt,

All 120 volt loads in homes with 240, 3 wire service are read accurately. These
homes have meters (like the one you have) that accurately read 240 (hot to hot)
and 120 (hot to neutral) volt loads, and generally *both* ways.

It is curious to me that you could not get that meter to work with your
measurement of energy consumption of a 120 vac appliance. Were you feeding it
with 240 and pulling the load off the neutral and one hot? I believe they will
not read accurately if fed with 120 only.
