Kohler 25/30 kw 3 phase [RE-wrenches]

If you put meters on the output of most any generator you will find that the
load varies, it does not have to be perfect. Also I think you need to start
by matching the input to the charger, not the output of the inverters
charger.

On my generator, the load varies from 23 amps on each leg (when we are
really working the chargers) to as low as 6 amps or less on the 2nd leg,
depending on where in the charging cycle you are. This is using 2 identical
inverters it just varies depending on where in the charging cycle you are.

Later,
Bob

Hi Wrenches,

Trace says that it is ok to run stacked SW 4024 inverters off two legs of a
120/208 three phase generator.

We have had no luck, however, finding a battery charger that has an output
close to the Trace SW series inverters. We need this charger to balance
the third phase of the generator.

Does anyone know of a source for large 24 volt battery chargers that would
charge in a similar pattern to the Trace?

Thanks,

Drake
