Here is a message from support at Topica, our list's host.

>We wanted to let everyone know that our site will be inaccessible for approximately 12 hours starting at 6 pm PST this Wednesday, March 28th (2am GMT Thursday, March 29th).
>
>Our technology group will use this time to perform various upgrades to the system.  All messages will be queued and then delivered as quickly as possible.

Usually they err on the side of too much time, so it is likely that the down time will be less than the stated 12 hours.
