I often get calls from people who want info on "solar shingles".  I
think for the most part, if these people could see the whole PV picture,
they would realize that conventional PV's mounted atop a mast, a ground
based array, or even on their roofs, are a much better deal.  I have to
educate most customers and on many issues.  I don't send inquiries off
to solar roofers until I'm sure they have an understanding of some of
the tired-n-true methods out there -- Kurt Nelson
