Bob,

Are his batteries old? What condition?
Windy,
The pack consists of 12, T-105 Trojan batteries, a little over a 18 months
old.
They were never equalized and on their first week of usage were discharged
to a totally flat state, I don't remember the hydrometer reading but it was
close to water!
He then ran them for 14 months with no Eq. Charges. When he called me he was
running the generator 5+ hours per day and only able to get them charged to
around 1.150.

I would have to say their condition was poor.

I installed the MP-24 and refreshed his memory on how to do an Eq. Charge.

It has been  a couple months and his charge time has dropped drastically to
around a 2 hours or so. And he is considering charging every 2 days instead
of daily.
