Hi Jeff,
My understanding is that the CP units are intended for single batteries or a
heavy truck type of arrangement and that the MP units are intended for large
battery packs like in a fork lift or in the battery systems we build.
Am I wrong about this?

Have you had any definite positive results with CP units on large packs yet?

"ridiculous markups" sounds like what I am seeing here.
Here is what I was given for pricing.
"The list prices for the MP12 and the MP24 are $345 and $495 respectively.
Distributors who submit individual orders of $2500 or more receive a 30%
discount."
Hard to justify the MP 24 at those prices.

Hi Bob,

Those prices do seem high. We sell these units at full retail (not much
mark up). They both go for $375. (unless there's been a big price increase
in the last couple months!) The CP-12 is $125  and the CP-24 is $145. These
smaller units are good for up to about 800 amps of motive power, or quite a
bit more (like 3 times as much) on an RE system where you don't need a "3
cycle cure".

I hear the dealer in Japan is making a killing on these units. They
apparaently love them over there, no one else is allowed to sell them, and
the dealer has no fear of ridiculous markups.

Can any of you folks give me pricing (retail and cost) on the Can Pulse
battery desulfator units?
Models MP-12 and MP- 24? I want a 2nd opinion, as the prices I have been
given seem way too high. Doesn't make sense to put a $500 unit on a $600.00
battery! I think the fellow might be trying to take me for a ride.......
