Ok, so who makes a approved battery backup inverter capable of also
selling
to the grid.

Both Vanner and Advanced Energy have battery-based, utility Intertie
capable inverters with UL 1741 and CEC approval.  Both are relatively
new products.  This would be a great time for anyone with any hands-on
experience with either of these alternative-to-brand-X inverters to
speak up!  We'd all love to hear more about these alternatives!  In
fact, we're dying to hear more!
