Hullo again all...

Can someone explain why Rick Cullen cannot contribute direct to the list as his
input is quite valuable??

This is exactly what I have done with the AERL MPPT units in grid tie
installations.
For us the crucial design issue is mid winter performance as we have no "snow"
advantage here but only 3.5 hours sun in June.
I am not concerned that MPPT has little advantage in summer.
I am often faced with the challenge of Maximum performance from Minimum array
size and this makes MPPT a Godsend.
Over here the client is less likely to complain about the price of MPPT, it is
the inflated prices of the panels that is the killer.

Regarding the proposed tests with a C40 and the 3048 can we please have the
proposed test clearly defined and the results posted here.
