Probably not, but it depends on your motivation. A boost of 20% (common) on
5 rated amps is one additional amp. Is that worth the $400 expense to you? I
would only if I knew I would be adding array down the line. Add more array,
and the benefits become more cost effective. For typical off grid folks with
8-12 modules, the SB upgrade costs about as much as one additional module,
and adds more amps in winter when its most needed.
