Trace Ground Fault - Interrupt [RE-wrenches]

Most of our projects are larger ground mount arrays and do not require
array DC ground fault device. We are installing a smaller 2KW array
with Trace 4kw SW power panel system on a home that will require GF
protection.

We ordered Trace ground Fault (double breaker and bonding resistor
assembly) device at same time we ordered power panel thinking it would
be installed in DC breaker box like other options they will install.
Unit came shipped separately, and no enclosure for mounting. Applied
Power was nice enough to offer a box they make for this application,
and said Trace has no enclosure for this package and no place to
install it on a factory assembled power panel.

Also, installation instructions indicate need to remove bonding bar
(no problem), but replace shunt assembly with modified shunt (extra
cost) since Trace would not ship the power panel with modified shunt
installed even knowing it was for a GFI system.

What gives? Has Trace never supplied a power panel on a site that
needs GF protection? Hard to believe, so is everyone building their
own non UL labeled boxes to mount this assembly and have a box of
dies-carded shunts?
