Lightning strike on Whisper 3000 [RE-wrenches]

Hello all,
I have the "opportunity" to fix a mess. Lightning struck a Whisper 3000 on a
40' tilt tower. I have very little experience with wind and have a couple of
questions. (BTW-I will be contracting an experienced wind guy to help with
this project)
1. Do I need to anticipate replacing conductor from wind gen to control
panel?
2. The SW5548 is humming along- what are the chances of it surviving?
3. Same with the batteries - (flooded)?
4. Anything I need to look for that might be hidden damage?
I have not seen this system yet so this is all the info I have for now.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

PS thanks much for all the great info on UniSolar roofing(and all that come
of it). It was a great string.
