Battery sizing for running the SW [RE-wrenches]

Windy: It seems like everyone would want battery backup in their grid
tie system, especially with the possibility of energy crisis related
blackouts, but this particular customer feels the batteries are a big
responsibilty and doesnt want to worry about killing them where as
she's okay without having power for a few hours. I couldnt argue with
her logic, especially when you consider how much load management
would be required to run off a small bank; forget to turn off a large
load and the batteries are flat in no time. Carl Reuter
