PV at the Power & Energy Systems Conference, Marina Del Rey, California [RE-wren

Dear PV Colleague,

A special session on photovoltaic energy is being organized for the 6th
International Association of Science and Technology for Development
(IASTED) International Conference on Power and Energy Systems (PES 2002)
to be held May 13-15, 2002, in the oceanfront city of Marina Del Rey
(near Los Angeles International Airport). This conference has technical
co-sponsorship from the IEEE Power Electronics Society.

The IASTED multi-conference provides an opportunity for prominent
specialists, researchers, and engineers throughout the world to share
the latest research in the areas of power and energy systems. The
deadline for submissions is February 1, 2002. See

The panel for special session on photovoltaic energy will include people
who submit PV papers and people working in PV. This is an excellent
opportunity as there is lot of international interest in PV and the
energy crises in California. If you are interested in submitting a paper
or participating in the special session on PV, please contact Mr. Imran
Hussain at Calgary at IASTED.com
