Dear PV Wrenches,

Isn't it amazing how compliant the user who really doesn't understand his
system becomes when the lights go out?

That was the case recently on a battery based grid connected sub system
installed by some "pro" who mounted the DC Master (a very fancy
DC250/charge control/meter made by Bobier) on the _left_ of the 4024. And
that just sets the stage for the other horrors.

Anyway, what this collection of parts also includes is a Multi-Flo (like
the subject heading says) that, as the owner demonstrated, beeps shortly
before overloading the 200 amp fuse. (He had several samples of open fuses
to prove his point, but had no more spares to experiment on his own and he
had wiped out his fuse supplier's stock of fuses.) I was able to trouble
shoot his current problem, service his very neglected wet batteries and get
a commitment for fixing the system and grid interconnection.

Finally, is anyone familiar with the Multi-Flo?

Thanks in advance,

Bill Loesch, Solar 1 - St. Louis Solar
