AEG meter set up [RE-wrenches]

I have NOT been able to get into the "installer mode" to install a new 
serial # w/ the remote meter for the AEG 1000 inverter.
I have followed the directions on page 22 for password entry only to be 
denied access! I have tried this about 5 times so IF there is anyone out 
there that has any in site into the workings of this FMB please E mail 
off  list, thanks
