Hello,
I was working at a job site today with a licensed electrician. He showed
me a few SQD AFI (arc fault interrupt) breakers he was installing in the
load center. They will trip if an arc is detected, such when plugging an
appliance (w/ its on board power switch on) into a live outlet. He said
they are now required for any cicuit in a "habitable" room. Comments,
please?
Kirk
