high reverse current [RE-wrenches]

Hi everyone,

I recently wired up -8- Astropower AP120, 120 watt modules in a series /
parallel 24 volt configuration.
A diversion controller is being used, so the panels are connected to the
batteries at all times through proper overcurrent protection.

I was surprised to see a total reverse leakage current of 300 ma through
the panels at dusk (roughly 75 ma per series pair). I've never witnessed
a leakage current this high in a 24 vdc system (obviously, no blocking
diode is installed). Does this seem unusually high to any of you?

thanks,
Kirk
