Grundfos SQ and DR [RE-wrenches]

Tom, Jay, and SQ pump users:
        I have an SQ pump in on a DR inverter and it has been working
for several months.  Brad at Applied Power says he has run an SQ on a DR
inverter and it worked.   Are these pumps headed for trouble?   Why
would they deteriorate over time?  Is there some technical reason why
the electronics would somehow work at first and not later?  Has anyone
had an SQ not work on a DR, or work at first and then not work later?
