old cruising amp hour meteres [RE-wrenches]

List members,

I have an old cruising amp hour meter. This is the first model that came
out... with the gray rectangular face and manual charge efficiency
calibration. It displays amp hours only, nothing else. While this thing
is too inaccurate to use in flying a system, these old timers do make
good total accumulated amp hour meters when counting down. I have no
manual with this unit and am wondering if anyone knows what the maximum
current the shunt can handle? With 45 amps at 27 volts it is getting
kind of warm.

Thanks,

Todd Cory
