Dana,
Where are you?
Your slab can do you some good but it depends on your locaion and how the
house is designed. You may be able to do what you want to its always worth a
try. I have seen many creative solutions. One is just like you think
a self made cooling loop from the well befor it waters the garden a fan and
a drip pan above the kitchen may also be a way of getting some cooling.
Creativity is great the cooling issue is big here in the south east. Dont
count on the floor system to work for you as is, keep trying things out. it
may be that you can push air across the floor while your cooling it and it
may work good enuf. Just depends on your location ecetra. Heat in the
floor may work. We think of drying the air here that can cool us down.
Dankoff has some ideas on pumps that may be able to pump your floor or
sculpture with direct PV and do something.
PS Chris says he want to make a concrete velosa-raptor that cools the room
too
