Just wanted to share I've now installed a complete power system in my
work van. It consists of:
     SW2512
     DC 250 w/DCBB, 2 - CD 15, 1 - CD 20
     C40 w/DVM
     TM 500 w/shunt
     2 - 60 A. Square D flush-mount Load Centers (Trace In/Out, AC
subpanel)
1 - AC double duplex receptacle; 1 - outside GFCI duplex receptacle
     1 - 20 A. twist lock receptacle for grid power/generator input
     1 - 15 A. feed for AC lights
1 - 20 A. 12 VDC feed for DC needs (radio scanner, cordless tool
charger, etc.)
     2 - MSX 60 W. modules, side mounted on swing-out RV racks.
     60C-17 battery (about the size of 2 - L16's w/greater capacity)

The entire system is backwired on a custom powerboard of kitchen-counter
material, so there is not a conduit or wire to be seen (except the
battery cables). The PV output cables are concealed inside a roof rib.

The system serves two needs: Power to run tools at jobsites and a
working, demonstration system showing a prospective client what it all
looks like.

If I had the $$$, I'd do a larger system in an enclosed trailer, complete
with 10-12 kW propane generator, and a _much_ larger PV/battery/inverter.
