Propane Conversion Kits [RE-wrenches]

Does anyone have a source for propane conversion kits for generators? I
have used Carb & Turbo from MN for several kits. There were complete and
relatively easy to install but maybe a little pricey as they were a little
over $200. They supply the type that you feed the propane between the the
air cleaner and carb. and can be switched from gas to propane by selecting
whichever fuel you want. (vs. the style that requires a new carb. and is
only propane).

I had a customer tell me that they had heard of a kit in the $50 range but
couldn't remember where from. Anyone have any ideas where?

I just bought a used gas Onan generator. I haven't had a chance to look at
it much but it can be wired for 120 or 240 output. This gennie is probably
15 years old or better but starts right up every time. I can't find a
model number on it but haven't looked very hard yet. It is electric start
and 1800 RPM. It is a 180 degree twin and looks to somewhere in the 4-6 kw
range. Does anyone know much about old Onan's? I'd like to know what I
have. Has anyone ever converted one of these to propane?
