New York State must have had some problems with the solar traffic warning
signs, when they park them on the roadside now they pull at least 1 wheel
off.
Hard to believe someone would steal something that obvious and BRIGHT
ORANGE!!!!
They have only been using them in this area for a couple years, nice to
finally see them used in this area!

I know of two PV arrays stolen in our region, back in the late 80's. Each
was about 1kw size. One was in a very remote place, up on 15' pole-mount
trackers, nobody around. The other was in a suburban back yard. We have
heard of a few others. All it takes is somebody knowing that they are
valuable + knowing somebody remote who "needs" them.
Apparently, some billboard lighting arrays along an interstate highway here
have also been stolen.
It happens.
