wrenches
i was wondering if anyone had or knew where i could get info on and or the
proper equipment (if it exists) to do a dc charging system for a 36 volt golf
cart. the existing charger is just a regular 120 volt ac to 36 volt dc
charger that they just plug into the grid. they want me to set up a pv system
that charges a battery bank which at night they will use an inverter to
charge their carts. i was hoping that i could set up a system that eliminated
the inverter and ac chargers, it seemed like a waste. can i use a large 36
volt battery bank to charge eleven 36 volt carts? is there any 36 volt charge
control equipment and metering equipment or can i do it from a 48 volt
battery bank? or am i better off with the original plan? also i was looking
at putting panels on the roof of each cart to reduce the time the cart needs
to charge in the evening. any feedback on this? would i be better off putting
all the panels on the central charging station? i would appreciate any help
anyone might be able to offer.
thanks
