SW4024 charger cycling - SOLVED! [RE-wrenches]

Thanks to this list, the problem of a SW4024 cycling between Bulk charge
and Inverter has been solved, especially suggestions from David Palumbo
of IP&L, Allan at Positive Energy and others.

Solution: Reduce Max Charge Amps (Menu #10) from previous setting of 35A
to 25A. Likewise changed Gen AC Amps (Menu #11) from 35A to 25A.

Experimentation showed normal charging using 20A, then later to 25A.
Upping it to 28A caused the original problem to return - going into Bulk
for 30 sec., back to inverting for 10 sec., then back into Bulk, over and
over again. Why it operated normally with the 35A. settings for several
years is still a mystery.

Gen is a propane-fueled Kohler 12RY, wired for full 120 VAC output.
Battery is C&D 2-volt industrial, 1270AH @ 20 hr. rate, 24 VDC nominal.
No solar, wind or hydro charging.

Thanks again!
