SW4048 giving me grief [RE-wrenches]

<x-flowed>Hi folks - I could really use some help. I've now installed three SW4048
inverters, two in one system, and in both cases they're overcharging the
batteries. On the first set I set the HVD to 57 volts and, after reading
some of the comments here I set them on sell. They're still bubbling the
batteries! The second set (both systems have 1165 ah Hup batteries) have
been at 62 volts for a few days. It's a construction site and they're
running a generator through the inverter. Today two cordless drill
batteries got fried while charging and the general contractor is upset, and
I don't have any real answers for him. He wants me to go fix everything and
explain what's going on and I don't really know. Help!
