RE in both worlds [RE-wrenches]

For people who have the grid in there back yard anyway I found it cheeper
use the microsines for the grid and have a UPS system as standby for power
outages. The UPS system uses sealed batteries and is used for essential
items like some efficient lights or even an efficient frig. This would
provide more money to buy more collectors that produce more power that
people who waste can use.

On one system I mounted the microsines remotely in the power shed and have a
switch that will diconnect the microsines from the solar collectors and feed
the 24 volts to a charge controler to a standby sealed battery pack and a
small sine wave inverter. This gave me the best of both worlds. This is
great for a long power outages and in that case you would go into a super
conservation Mode and keeps you independent. I have even used Ice storage
for the frig for longer outages and conservation Moods.

Since the power profile generated from collectors is much different from
house use. I found the hybrid system is cheaper and if you want you can even
use things on DC power.

I notice that the microsines will cause some radio interfence. I plan to put
eveything in condunt. Trace has not got back to me yet on this one.
Has anybody ran into this problem?
