Racking Up Sharp Triangle Panels [RE-wrenches]

Hi All,
Anybody install any Sharp 70/140 watt modules on
the intended Sunframes? On other racks?
I don't have the modules in my shop so I can't
play with them and my questions revolve around
the fact I'm doing a non-standard install of
them. I'm installing them in a christmas tree
pattern rather than a true triangle.
So that's in portrait mode in rows of 6, 5,4,3
(including triangles) instead of the intended 7,
5, 3 or 6, 4, 2. The result is a pretty nice
looking christmas tree jagged triangle at 67º
(just what this octagon roof is) (or 60º in
landscape) instead of the intended 40º and 50º
triangles. But then comes racking.
So my question is this. Does the standard
install rely on the 'L" strips to hold the end
triangles since they only get held at bottom (and
7" at top) with the sunframes? They interlock
and secure the panel well enough?
Has anyone installed them using top clips and 2
rails per row instead of sunframe top and bottom
rails? How do they look?
For those installing with sunframes - any tricks
to watch for? How do the edges look? - no cap
there right?
Thanks!
Jeff C.
