I have been using a Kenmore front loader for many years with a Xantrex  
SW.  The problem seems to be that the motor will not turn on in the wash 
cycle if the battery voltage is above 28.5 volts. The SW waveforms is 
stepped and it becomes courser with fewer steps as the voltage rises.  
My suggestions is to do laundry at night when the batteries are not 
charging, or put some potatoes in the microwave before you start the 
washer (or any large load to bring the battery voltage down.)
It is funny that this washer works fine on many modified square wave 
inverters, even ones as small as 500 watts.
Other than this problem, I have found the Kenmore / Frigidaire front 
loader to be a great washer.
