Saving SW settings when powered down [RE-wrenches]

I seem to recall a device that you could plug into the remote port of a
Xantrex/Trace SW inverter that would preserve all of your programming
setpoints if/when the inverter's DC power was disconnected. I called
Xantrex and the tech I spoke to never heard of it. I thought it might
have been a RightHand Engineering product, but can't get their web site
to open (are they still in business?). Does such an item exist or was I
just imagining it? Thanks in advance.
